In the Jewelry Control module of DJ Wizard you can manage your jewelry inventory with the
Jewelry Card, create jewelry styles on the
Jewelry Style Form, set stones on a jewelry item with the
Jewelry Stones Settings Table, and review your jewelry stock by
Units in Style.
In the Jewelry Card you can do the following:
- Automatically calculate 5 sets of sale prices for Client type from dealer up to retail.
- Choose to calculate prices based on the Off-Retail or Cost-Plus method.
- Quickly enter a jewelry piece to your inventory here and at any time later when you can, set the manufacturing details and diamond settings, if you like.
- Type in the cost of the Jewel or calculate it automatically from the diamonds and gold settings.
- Set loose stones (diamonds and colored stones) for any piece from similar style with different sizes and prices. You can transfer the stones from your own inventory parcels or just type them in. If stones are taken from your stock, the program will subtract the number of carats you transferred. The extracted stones will be recorded on the parcel from which they were extracted.
- Enter complete description of how a Jewelry style has been manufactured. Use it to automatically calculate your cost and selling prices or for quick reordering.
- Specify as many items as you want, including diamonds and other stones, gold and other metals.
- Calculate Jewelry costs based on your costs of material and setting labor and desired mark up for retail price.
- List all diamonds and their shapes, sizes, color and clarity on every jewelry.
- You have the option to create individual style for each jewelry piece in your stock or for any group of them.
- Review the quantity On Hand and quantity On Memo for a given Style.
- Search a specific piece of Jewelry by its category.
- Click a button to display the Jewelry photo (optional).
Grouping option has has 3 goals:
- To record a corresponding "old-number" or refer to one from supplier.
- To Record/set physical location of merchandise (like, showcase A, B, C1, etc). Then use Physical Invenmtory Utility to set or count items in each loaction and inspect several locations at once. It is a real great time saving option.
- Groups can be recorded to track a group of items, for example, that you bought from a certain suppliers in one purchase. You can group the sales by grouping. Grouping is currently available for custom reports only. You can then select, sort and present stock in such groups.
