In the Diamond Control module of DJ Wizard you can manage your diamond inventory with the
Diamond Card, review or edit the Rapaport price tables in the
Rapaport Table, define or delete diamond shapes in the
Shapes Table, edit diamond size groups in the
Sizes Table, and scan certificates and link them to the DJ Wizard inventory in the
Cert Link Utility.
In the Diamond Card you can do the following:
- Stock IDs are alpha-numeric characters. Yet, you can add to any preceding ID letters a sequential number(e.g., ABC1001, ABC1002, ...). You can change existing IDs.
- Automatically add/duplicate stock items.
- Preset up to 5 different prices for every item in your stock (e.g., for dealer, store, retail, etc.)
- Enter two sets of merchandise costs: Actual cost and adjusted cost (including overhead costs). Enter one cost and the other cost calculates behind the scene. Actual cost shows only if you are authorized to see it.
- Review the merchandise cost to date, including interest on your money from the date you purchased it.
- Mix stones with different lots at any cost and automatically calculate the new cost per carat and sale prices.
- Add stones to or subtract from any lots (if you are allowed to) at any cost and the new cost is automatically calculated for you.
- Find out the updated cost per carat of any given lot based on your sales from this lot and desired percentage of profit.
- Enter stone measurements and the percentage of depth is calculated automatically based on the shape.
- Enter certificate information to show on your Lot Card and on your Price Lists.
- Click a button to fax a certificate automatically (optional).

In the Rapaport Table you can do the following:
- Click a button to automatically calculate the set of 5 selling prices on the Lot Card.
- Calculate prices based on the Rapaport tables or Cost plus.
- Search for anything in your Diamonds inventory of any shape that matches certain criteria such as, size range, color, clarity, with/without certificate, single stones or Lots, in your stock or from others. Sort them by carat weight from large to small or by group sizes from high to low colors and best to worst clarity.
- Rapaport Prices can be automatically downloaded from the Rapaport website, using the Rapaport Updater Utility. Then you can update your entire inventory with the new prices with the click of a button. (You must be a member of RapNet)
